Description: Pancakes are great with more than just eggs and breakfast. They can be paired with a number of different toppings, ingredients, and dishes. Here are two ideas for both a sweet and savory pancake that's
great on its own or as part of a dish.

Directions:

  1. For savory pancakes, cook your onion with peas, mushrooms, spinach, and broccoli. Add your chopped meat and stir together. This should be enough batter to make 4 small personal pancakes.
  2. For sweet pancakes simply dice bananas and ready your chocolate chips.
  3. To start your pancake batter, mix all dry ingredients together. This includes four, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  4. Once mixed slowly incorporate milk, egg, and melted butter. Stop mixing once the batter is free of clumps.
  5. Add sweet or savory topping mixture to the batter and quickly incorporate.
  6. Cook batter on a flat medium heat skillet and flip when small bubbles start to appear.
  7. When finished, plate your pancakes with salsa and syrup for savory, or whipped cream and syrup for sweet.
