Potato Bread


  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4th cup Parmesan cheese
  • Salt

Description: A perfect potato dish to make when you've got leftover mashed potatoes lying around. A bread side dish that pairs perfectly with soups!


  1. Preheat oven to 425f
  2. Prepare two cups of mashed potatoes, or boil and mash two cups of mashed potatoes.
  3. Add in butter, egg, garlic powder, Parmesan, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Mix together and knead to form a ball of dough. Split into 5 smaller dough balls.
  5. On a baking sheet or glass pan, flatten dough balls into disks roughly 6 inches across and poke with a fork.
  6. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
