Alligator Soup


  • 12oz egg noodles
  • 10 - 20oz (1 or 2 cans) cream of mushroom soup
  • 10oz of grated carrots
  • 16oz green beans
  • 15oz (1 can) green peas
  • 4 - 8oz (1 or 2 cans) sliced mushrooms
  • 1 lb shredded chicken

Description: Technically not a soup, alligator soup is a warm and creamy pasta dish offering an alternative to alfredo. Many different vegetables can be used or substituted into the soup. Shredded cheese or hot sauce is a perfect compliment to sprinkle on top.


  1. Cook or thaw chicken and shred when fully cooked.
  2. Boil egg noodles until tender. Rinse and strain.
  3. Add cream of mushroom soup, carrots, beans, peas, mushrooms, and shredded chicken.
  4. Mix in a large bowl and serve warm.
